Hello-

I'm looking for help. My four month old, Panasonic 42 inch plasma started acting up two weeks ago. All these white vertical lines start showing up on the screen. You cant see the picture. It happened for 10 minutes the first time, 20 minutes two days later, then they come on and haven't went away. Has anyone had this issue?

What was the outcome of your line problem.
My 5 month old Panasonic 42px50u is in the shop after an unsucessfull in-home repair attempt. It has white lines from the top right quadrant down to the middle of the screen and about 1 inch wide( about 15 or so lines of pixels ) they are not sure if it is a ribbon cable as the boards were already replaced. The ribbon cable is attached to the plasma display permanently but the pc board end is a plug. If the cable is bad at the screen end then the whole plasma screen has to be replaced. Glad it's under warranty. NOT glad to have such a serious problem so soon.
