I have Sony KVX2182U TV, a brand new Sony GX210 DVD recorder, and an old Thompson Sky Digibox. And I am having major problems getting them to be friends.

The DVD recorder doesn't mind playing DVDs on the TV, and will record straight from the TV aerial. The Sky Digibox channels can be viewed through the DVD player on line3, but the moment I try and do an auto-preset to detect and store the sky channels the DVD recorded sulks and ignores the SKY box.

The TV just seems to hate them both :-)

Any tips for getting them working together?
