I just bought a samsung HLR 5078w and it hasnt arrived yet.Its a 1080i set . if in game mode ie component hook up there have been some reported lag problems.
i am freaked by some message boards talking about lag on x box and bowing etc on these newer samsung Dlp sets

one guy said
"If you buy one of the newer Samsung DLPs (67 or 68 series) you will want to use the VGA input. There are several reports that the VGA picture quality on the Samsung DLPs is equal to or better than the component input. The VGA input also has no video lag. The ‘Game mode’ mentioned in an earlier post only works to reduce lag for a 480i input. VGA is your best option for a high definition picture with no video lag on these TVs."

This is a Dumb Question but what type adapter cable do i get to use the VGA on the tv and connect to the old xbox????

any help would be appreciated
