I have the following equipment for my home theater setup, and was wondering what the ideal way to set everything up would be??

Sony KDS-R50XBR1 50" HDTV
Denon AVR 1805 (no HDMI)
Denon DVD1920 (HDMI)
Comcast HD cable box
XBox
Tivo series 2 box

I am particularly confused about using HDMI with the Denon DVD player, so that I can upconvert with best posssible A\V quality. The problem is that my Denon receiver does not have HDMI inputs. So, I guess I am forced to use HDMI from the DVD player directly to my Sony HDTV; and then an optical audio connection from the Sony HDTV to my Denon receiver. Will that provide me with digital video and surround sound?

Also, should I use component with comcast cable box, or hdmi as well? There are 2 HDMI inputs on my TV.

Let me know what you experts think my ideal setup would be -- I am new to HDMI.
