My Sony Trinitron TV (10 yrs old) just shut off and won't turn back on either by using remote or power button on TV. I suspect a bad power board or power board compents but this puppy is 200lbs and not easily moved to a repair shop. I understand that Sony has a H.O.T. kit (whatever that stands for) that has the necessary parts so I guess I'll have to call for repair. My question is: Has anyone had a similar repair experience and what costs can be expected?
Thanks in advance.

The TV was fixed by replacing a few parts on the power board by a tech that came to the house and fixed it on the spot. I believe I was lucky not to have the TV carried back to the shop for repairs as that, I'm sure would have added quite a bit extra than the $314 it cost to fix on site.
