I have had my DVD recorder for about 4 months now and it has been doing fine as far as recording things from the tv or satellite. Just today I realized that I cannot record things from the VCR. I completely unplugged everything and now the only things connected are the TV/VCR combo and the DVD recorder. But when I push play on the VCR and record on the DVDR, it only records the TV channel not the VHS that is playing. It doesn't seem to matter which channel I put the DVDR on either. Is there just something wrong with the tv/vcr combo or does the DVDR only accept output from the tv channels and not the VCR? I am using the red, white, and yellow cords as that is all my TV will accept. Please help!

I've never seen a TV/VCR combo with line outputs, only inputs. If there's no RCA outputs, you need a seperate VCR to record to DVD.
