Hey all,
New to this and have learned much quickly.
Planning on getting a 7.1 THX (select) receiver and 7.1 speakers, but wondering if it is worth it right now.
The HDMI DVD player I want upconverts to 1080p, same as my TV, but it doesn't actually keep up with my sound equip. Is this correct? I would have to buy a DVD player w/ 7.1 THX to keep up with my sound equip.? Bit pricey! Wondering if I should just go with a 5.1 system instead.
