I just bought a Phillips 42" plasma which has the unscrambled digital cable -QAM. How does this benefit me. Do I need to use the CC slot or can I just hook up the coax to the back of the TV. What channels what I get? I was told I should get like every channel they offer, is that true? |

QAM tuner will pick up unscrambled digital and HD channels from your cable provider without a cable card. Use the cable card slot if you have subsribed to the provider's HD services. Channels you receive depend on what is available in your area through your provider. Set up your tuner and those questions will be answered. The tuner will program all available digital and analog channels. |
