Hello, Let me apologize in advance for being somewhat t.v. challenged. I have a Sony kdf-55wf-655 t.v. and a Sony rdr-hx715 HDD dvd recorder. Charter isn't offering cable cards in my area yet (or HD programing) but they supposedly are all digital. Since I don't have the option of cable cards for both pieces could someone advise me of the best way to hook everything up including the cable STB. The way I have it hooked up currently gives me terrible reception. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

Connect the box to the recorder with s-video or RCAs. Connect the recorder to the TV with, in order of preference, the triple components, s-video, RCAs. If component, needed for progressive scan, or s-video, you still need RCAs for audio. |
