I have a question about VHS to DVD. I have a stand alone DVD recorder and an older VCR. I have the GoDVD stabilzerto hook between them. I got the DVD recorder to record something, but all I am getting is static and snow recorded. So I know the signal coming from the VCR is not right. The VCR only has one audio output, not two. It has the white one, not the red. But I am suppose to hook the DVD and VCR audio together. THe DVD has both red and white, but just white on the VCR. My whole set up is TV -> DVD ->GoDVD ->VCR. Is this correct? What would the exact cord configurations be with only one audio output on the VCR? Any help you can give me is greatly appreciated.

Get a Y cable for the audio. Connect a single RCA cable from the VCR to the Y cable and connect those 2 RCAs to the DVD. Did you set the DVD recorder on whatever input you connected the VCR to?
