I have a RCA 52inch projection tv with CTC195 Chassis. The problem that I'm having is a serious pincushion effect, on all 3 colors, in the top and bottom of the screen. If I leave the TV off overnight, it will work fine for about an hour, then without any warning the TV jumps out of alignment. If I turn the TV off for a few mins, it will work fine for about 15 mins, then out again. Maybe if I had a pair of 3D glasses, I could have a really cool effect!
My question is: What is wrong with it? I've been researching the internet for about a month now, And I can't find any answers. I've tried unplugging it for about a week, all resistors check out fine. I have a feeling it is the convergence IC, but I don't want to throw money into guesses.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.
