I am in the process of buying a wide screen TV. I am currently looking at the SONY XBR1 50" and the Mitsubishi 52" WD-52627 DLP. Can anyone give me their opinion on which way to go? Is one technology or brand favored over the other? Thanks for the help.

Ron,

I really think it is a matter of personal preference. I chose LCoS because the picture looked better to me because I saw the dreaded rainbow effect with DLP. I also thought that DLP looked more artificial to me than LCoS. However, I would never say that my decision is the right one for anyone but me.
