I have a year old Samsung HC-P4752W rear projection HDTV. Tonight the picture started going pink, then a real washed out white. After about 30 minutes the picture went normal again. Now about every 10 minutes it goes pink and then washed out and then normal. This just keeps repeating. I know nothing about electronics. The manual is useless. Can anyone tell me what is happening? Is there a bulb that could be going out? Is it a circuit board? As luck would have it, the warranty expired 17 days ago! |

I called them this morning. They said I was out of warranty and all they could do is point me towards a local repair business. What made you think they would cover it out of warranty? Any other ideas? |

You gave up too easy! Call back! Be persistant! Don't take no for an answer! Ask for the ECR! (next level up) Demand that they extend your warranty 3 months. Tell them you have no reason to ever buy their products again if they stiff you on this. You won't be the first within 90 days of your warranty to get service.
