Im about to order a COOLBOX PLATINUM XP descrambler and I need to know if its compatable with my cable box...I have a Scientific Atlantic 8610 model. Please help me asap. Thanks very very much in advance. |

What about a Viewmaster VM 4000 it says its compatable with my box. Do you know if Viewmaster VM 4000 is any good and will work ????? |

I have a feeling your not sure what you are even looking to get. The Viewmaster is a basic cable convertor. Its somethign that people who do not have a cable redy TV use to view standard analog, unencypted channels. Its the same as using your cable ready VCR to change channels because your tv isnt cable ready. "system comes with Stereo Sound and a picture that is by far the best you can get with an analog cable box in this price range." It sounds like your looking for a box to ADD to your exisint box to descramble the channels you are not paying for? |
