Hi all,

Sorry if this is a repeat, I did search the board for awhile but most of the answers were obsolete.

Can anyone recommend a DVD player that will upconvert to 1080i over component cables? I DO NOT want to spend $150 on an hdmi cable. I have a SONY KDF-E50A10 LCD Projection set. My Toshiba upconvert DVD player is a piece of crap and doesn't seem to want to upconvert over components. The hdmi cable it came with is a piece of crap and leaves constant picture ghosts and artifacts on the screen.

Can anyone recommend a good player? If not, are there any good hdmi cables that DON'T cost $150?

Thanks,

Adam

go to eHDMI.com....legit site cables work perfectly or use the following EBayer...http://stores.ebay.com/id=2766973?ssPageName=L2...bought a 15 footer from him for 4 dollars and under 10 dollars shipping. Cnet has an article on why to buy the cheapest Hdmi cable you can find.
