Is there a way to tell thru the menu screens how many hours you have on the lamp? I am looking to see if it about time I order a new one. I have a 61" HLP6163 I beleive.

Also I have directv HD. The shows I watch on the HD channels could not be any clearer if I tried. It is outstanding in every way. However If I go back to the main channel of the same show that says broadcast in HD nothing changes. The picture stays the same. Is this not supposed to make the picture clearer if it is being broadcast in HD?

EX: NBC NY on HD channel 82 is crystal clear
NBC NY on channel 4 is quite fuzzy.

Regular channel 4 NBC NY is always going to look fuzzy compared to channel 82 NBC HD. This applies to all channels. Get a new bulb now and you will have when your current bulb goes out.
