REGION FREE METHODS FOR : Raite

 

MODEL(S) : METHOD : CONFIRMED?
AV-711 1.  Go to SETUP.
2.  Select PREFERENCE at the bottom and press SKIP LEFT, SKIP RIGHT on the remote control.
3.  A number will be displayed in the top corner of the screen, which you can change with the arrow keys on the remote control.
4.  The selection is saved when you exit the menu.
5.  When selecting the region, choose * after 6 for region-free.		   

 

MODEL(S) : METHOD : CONFIRMED?
AV-713 1.  Go to SETUP.
2.  Rapidly press SLOW, SKIP LEFT, SKIP RIGHT on the remote control.
3.  Choose the required region using A=1, B=2, etc, with ***=region-free.
4.  Press SETUP on the remote control.		   

 

MODEL(S) : METHOD : CONFIRMED?
AV-715 Newest firmware:

1. Using the remote control, key in the following: Stop, Stop, Setup, 8, 8, 8, 8, Skip Right.
2. The letter "A" show appear on screen.
3. Press the Skip Right button on the remote control, to select regions, using A=1, B=2, etc, or * for region free.

Older firmware:

1. Using the remote control, key in the following: Stop, Stop, Setup, Slow, Skip Left, Skip Right.
2. The letter "A" show appear on screen.
3. Press the Skip Right button on the remote control, to select regions, using A=1, B=2, etc, or * for region free.

Alternative Methods if the above do not work:

1. Place a DVD of different region to that of the player in the machine and wait until "Wrong Disc" appears on the display.
2. Using the remote control, key in the following: Setup, Slow, Skip Right, Pause, Stop, Stop, to disable Macrovision.
3. Use the Composite Video Output to record to VHS.
4. Use either of the two methods above to change regions.
5. Press Play on the remote control - the word Stop will appear on the screen.
6. Press the Menu/Return button on the remote control if access to the disc's menu is required.
7. Press the PBC button on the remote control.
8. Press the Play button on the remote control.

Disable Macrovision (Firmwares v05.37 upwards):

1. Using the remote control, key in the following: Setup, Slow, Skip Right, Pause, Stop, Stop.
2. The letter "M" should appear on screen.
