REGION FREE METHODS FOR : Philco

 

MODEL(S) : METHOD : CONFIRMED?
DV-P3000 1. Open the player's tray.
2. Using the remote control, key in the following: 7, 7, 3, 9.
3. Select Region 1 to 6, or use 0 for region-free.
4. Press Play (tray will close).		   

 

MODEL(S) : METHOD : CONFIRMED?
DV-P3500 1. Open the player's tray.
2. Using the remote control, key in the following: 6, 4, 3, 8.
3. Select Region 1 to 6, or use 0 for region-free.
4. Press Play (tray will close).		   

 

MODEL(S) : METHOD : CONFIRMED?
DV-P2000 1. Ensure there is no disc in the tray and that the tray is closed.
2. Using the remote control, key in the following: Stop, Stop, Setup.
3. Continue by pressing 3, 8, 8, 8, 3, followed by the region required.

Macrovision Off:

1. Use the code 5,9,0,4,1,9 in step 3 above to gain access to CSS and Macrovision options.

DV-P2100 1. Open the player's  tray
2. Press 8, 9, 2, 6 on the remote control ("*" will be seen on the screen).
3. Then select region (1 to 6) or "0" for region free.
4. Press Play (tray will close)

If you press 89267, Firmware version will be shown and 89268 all settings will be returned to default.		 Yes

DV-P2500 1. Open the player's tray
2. Press 6, 4, 3, 8 on the remote control ("four *" will be seen on the screen).
3. Then select region (1 to 6) or "0" for region free.
4. Press Play (tray will close).		 Yes

PH-9000		 1. Turn on player.
2. Press Eject on remote control.
3. Press 7, 7 and Enter (Some Remotes use the "Select" key).
4. COUNTRY CODE: 13 + enter for region free, or use a specific region number.
5. Press Play.
6. Put a DVD in the tray.
7. Press Play.

Remove Macrovision:

1. Turn on player.
2. Press Eject on remote control.
3. Press 7, 7 and Enter (Some Remotes use the "Select" key).
4. Go to next page.
5. MACROVISION: 0.
6. Put a DVD in the tray.
7. Press Play.

PH-7000 Another method for the 7000:

1. Press "setup"
2. Press "Pause/Still"
3. Press "Prev"
4. Press "Next"
5. Select -->REGION then -->BYPASS

PH-9100		 Change region:

1. Turn on the player.
2. Press Eject on the Remote Control.
3. Key in 7, 4, Enter.
4. Key in the region required, or 13 for region free.
5. Press Enter on the remote control.
6. Press Play.
7. Put a DVD in the tray.
8. Press Play.

To disable Macrovision:

1. Turn on the player.
2. Press Eject on the Remote Control.
3. Press 7, 4 followed by Enter.
4. Go to the next page.
5. Set Macrovision to 0.
6. Put a DVD in the tray.
7. Press Play.
