REGION FREE METHODS FOR : Orion

 

MODEL(S) : METHOD : CONFIRMED?
DVC-5000 1. Power up your player.
2. Open the dvd drawer.
3. In your right hand hold the remote.
4. From now on R=right hand/remote and L= left hand/player.
5. L press pause and release.
6. L press eject and hold down.
7. R type in the serial code from the back of the player changing any letters with the associated number (ie 1=a 2=b etc).
8. Now hold down and keep held down play/ffward/eject after about 3 minutes the screen will change and that's it.		   

 

MODEL(S) : METHOD : CONFIRMED?
DVD-902S 1.  Turn on the player.
2.  Press STOP then OPEN/CLOSE and SKIP on the player at the same time as pressing STOP.
3.  After 3 seconds, a hidden menu should be available with options for region code and colour system settings.

DVD-337S		 1.  Turn on the player.
2.  Press STOP then (holding stop) press OPEN/CLOSE and SKIP on the player at the same time for 3 seconds.
3.  A hidden menu should appear.  Release the butons on the player.
4.  Select the region number from the menu, or the free option for region-free mode.
5.  Do not make any changes to the Initialised Type menu option, as this can leave the player inoperable.  IF you do this by accident, go back to this menu and select option 1.
6.  Exit the menu.		 Yes, for 3001, 337S

 

MODEL(S) : METHOD : CONFIRMED?
DV-KT 1. Turn on the player with no disc loaded.
2. Hold Open/Close, Stop and Skip Right and wait about 5 seconds.
3. Choose region number, 1 = Region 1 etc, or use 0 for region free.		 Doesn't seem to work

 

MODEL(S) : METHOD : CONFIRMED?
HCINEMA 100XX 1. Open the draw.
2. Type 81328 on your remote.
3. A window will appear on your tv.
4. Press the enter key to move to region 9.
5. Press play to close the drawer.
6. The machine is now permanently multiregion.

Enabling VCD playback:

1. Turn On the player and place a VCD on the open tray
2. Using the front panel press Close quickly followed by Menu and 5 on the remote
3. This should load and play the disc. If the disc fails to play then press 0, 0, 0, 1 and the disc should then play
4. If this fails to work then you may wish to consider using the hack for the Goodmans GDVD-135.		 Yes for the region.
