MODEL(S) : METHOD : CONFIRMED?
DVD-8200 1.  Press Setup on the remote control.
2.  Rapidly press Slow, Left Skip, Right Skip on the remote control.
3.  Choose the required region with the rempte control arrow keys, using A=1, B=2, C=3, etc, with ***=region-free.
4.  Press Setup on the remote control.

The following MAY disable Macrovision on this machine:

1. Press Stop twice.
2. Press Setup, Slow, Skip Right and Pause.
3. If a M letter shows in left upper corner Macrovision is disabled.
4. Press Setup.

To view your firmware revision:

1. Press Setup, Slow, Skip Left, 3.
