REGION FREE METHODS FOR : Matsui

 

MODEL(S) : METHOD : CONFIRMED?
DVD 110
(older models)		 1. Make sure that there is no disc in the player.
2. Press the Menu on the remote control.
3. Press the 9 button on the remote control.
4. Press the Open/Close button on the remote control.
5. Press the 5 button on the remote control.
6. The display should read    ::
7. Choose a region (1-6)

To convert this player for VCD playback

1. Insert a MUSIC CD into the player.
2. Press Stop on the remote control.
3. Press Menu on the remote control.
4. Press the 1-All button on the remote control.
5. Press the Open button on the remote control.
6. A menu will appear saying Enable VCD 1-Yes/2-No.
7. Press 1 on the remote control.
8. VCDs will now play.

 1. Make sure there is no disc in the player.
2. Press the Menu button on your remote control.
3. Press the 1 button on your remote control.
4. Press the 6 button on your remote control.
5. Press the 7 button on your remote control.
6. Press 1 for Region 1, 2 for Region 2, and so on, or alternatively Mute button on your remote control for All Regions.

To convert this player for VCD playback (not for DVD125)

1. Press the Open button on your remote control to open the drive tray.
2. Place an audio CD in the drive tray.
3. Press the Open button on your remote control to close the drive tray.
4. Press the Menu button on your remote control.
5. Press the 1 button on your remote control.
6. Press the Index (1-All) button on your remote control.
7. Press the Open button on your remote control.
8. Press the 1 button on your remote control.

Alternate VCD Method (may work for 125 model - confirm please!)

1. Insert music CD.
2. Press Stop, Menu, 1, Bookmark, Open on the remote control.

 Yes for DVD122, 125

Method 2 for VCD confirmed.

DVD 120 1. Press the Stop, Eject and Skip buttons together on the player, not the remote control, for a few seconds.
2. Select your region.

Another method:

1. Press the 5 button on the remote control.
2. Press the Open/Close button on th remote control.
3. Press the Mute button on the remote control.
4. Select your region.

DVD 125 Disable Macrovision:

1. Make sure there is no DVD in the player.
2. Using the remote control, key in the following: Stop, Index, Menu, 5, 9, 7, then Exit.

DVD 225 1. Turn unit on.
2. Open the Disc Tray.
3. On the remote control type 3, 4, 9, 7, 3, 4.
4. Press the number of the Region you require or 0 (region free).
5. If the unit is reset or the power left off for a prolonged period of time it might default back to Region 2 - Simply repeat above to regain Multi Region capability. 		Yes
