Hi,

Would be delighted if someone could put an end to a lot of heartache. Here is my current set up:-

TV - MATSUI 28WN20 - 2 SCARTS
SONY VIDEO CASSETTE RECORDER SLV-SE220G - 2 SCARTS
ACOUSTIC SOLUTIONS DVD PLAYER - AS-8099 -1 SCART
SKY BOX

At present all work ok.

I have just purchased a GOODMANS TWIN FREEVIEW TUNER DIGITAL TAPELESS VIDEO RECORDER - GHDD1785DVBT - 2 SCARTS (80 GB hard drive).

I have been unable to get new hard disk recorder set up. I don't get any freeview channels in the area i live. But i still thought when i carry out initial setup it would recognise the sky signal. can anybody confirm for me how i would connect this hdd recorder into my current setup.

Can anybody confirm that even though it's a freeview hd recorder that i can still record onto it from sky even if i can't get freeview signals.
