Since I purchased the unit new ~10/04 I have intermittently had an issue with the screen appearing reddish-pink on start up which in all cases except for one resolved with re-starting the unit. The one exception resulted in my switching from HDMI to component as a result of my suspecting the HDMI port on my DirecTiVo HD DVR but nonetheless it has occured on a couple of occasions since. It is not reproducible so as a result I haven't had a service rep take a look at it. Has anyone heard of such an issue, and if so, if there a known cause and subsequent fix? I otherwise love the unit! |
