Hey guys,
I'm thinking about buying a DVD recorder so I can record my saved movies and shows from my Dish DVR to DVD. Is this possible? Or should I just go with a dvd recorder with a harddrive?

i bought a SONY VHS DVD Recorder it would not get passed the macrovision aired movies... I bought a panasonic vhs dvd recorder it did allow me to copy the movies off my dvr to dvd just fine... also i had a rca vhs dvd recorder it copied too.. Good luck john
