Currently severely backordered. You *MIGHT* be able to find one somewhere in the country, but highly unlikely at this point, as none have been shipped in about a month.

Great TV though if it was available. If you can wait, then do so. If you can't, then check out the Sony SXRD 50" or 60".

I saw one at a local dealer, it looks nice, but is it worth it to invest in a 1080P set right now when they cannot even accept a true 1080P input? |

Todays 1080P sets scale all input signals to the set's native display resolution of 1080P. They were not designed to accept 1080P on the HDMI port because the format doesn't yet exist. (but for the exception of some expensive scalers) The ATSC tuners will receive 1080P if such a signal is ever broadcasted. The VGA ports found on some sets will accept 1080P from computers as well. |
