OK- I am new to all this. What cables(brand)do you recommend using to connect from DVD to HDTV? Monster cables seem to be the most prevalent in the stores, however they seem overpriced. I am going to connect DVD to HDTV via component connections.

i have a phillips 43inch hdtv projection tv. two months ago, the blues in the color started getting out of alighment, i used the convergance to put them back in order,but a week later the same thing happened, and this time i could not get the blues to go back in alighment. now just two days ago i turned on the set and i got sound, but no picture. the set is only 3 yrs old, the model #43pp920217.any sugestions. can it be fixed for under 300 or do i plan for a replacement.
