Hi, I just got a new HD tv (Panasonic TH-42PX50U) and so I had to go out and buy a progressive scan dvd player of course. Thinking that it might not be too long before HD-DVD exists (?) i didnt spend a lot and got a phillips model from best buy (dont have model number on me). I am pretty new to all this av stuff and as i read more, i find that i should have been looking for something with 3.2 pulldown conversion....seems to have something to do with frame rates between film and video and I'm sure you all know what i'm talking about....
looks like this dvd player doesnt have it
did i really limit my potential viewing pleasure with this player????
also, this may be a stupid question, but is this something that some tvs process on their end instead of the player?
thanks!
N
