hello. could anyone please help me. I have dvdr, freeview and tv. all philips, all connected by scarts. Problem is there is no sound on any of the analogue channels when watching through the dvd recorder. When i go to ext1 on the recorder, which is freeview, the sound is fine. This means i can only record through freeview, otherwise there would never be any sound. Surely this isn't right. please, please somebody help me. I've been messing with this for ages. I'm wondering if it,s to do with some kind of setting on one of the devices. I'm sure its wired up correctly. |

Not sure what freeview is but you might try checking your settings for SAP recording. If you have it on SAP format change it to Main or Stereo. Then record something and se what you get ...
