Can someone explain what is meant by "regional dvd" and "codes to hack and unlock"...what does this mean? Also, please answer this, I am going to buy an hd tv and presently have an older sony dvd player. It has component out, which gives me a good picture on my present tv, which is a standard sony 27". Will this player look worse on any new HD tv (probably plasma) and how much better will one of these new upconverting DVD players be? Will the picture from one of those be better on an hdtv than the picture I am looking at now from my standard DVD into my standard 27" sony tv?
