I wanted to convert my vhs videos to dvd. I popped in a Maxell DVD-R cd and it read error. It was an 8x cd/4.7. I also have a software update that came with my emerson dvd recorder. I was wondering why we have to call before the update. Also why doesnt my Maxell cds work with my emerson dvd recorder? What cds do I buy? |

The update is for 8x discs, you can only use 1-4x without the update. |

I have a EWR20V4 less than a year old and it has always worked great until over the week-end my wife and I were watching a movie, we removed the disc turned off the unit and went to have a meal when we came back a short time late the unit would not turn on. No power of any kind. Can anyone help? |
