Hello- We have a few DVD players (one Hitachi, one Panasonic recorder, etc). So nice as we all agree. But if I'm in the middle of watching a recorded show on my VHS and I want to stop all I have to do is hit STOP and when I want to continue the next day I hit PLAY and it starts right where I left off. How do I get this exact feature on my DVD player? Who needs the aggravation of having to skip through to where you left off? Thanks in advance. M |

?? Most DVD players as long as you press stop just once, they will start off from where they left off. Even a day later, as long as you stick to "stand-by" and not cut the power to the player. |

Press stop, then power off, when you want to start watching again, just press play, not power on then play. |

On some you have to press play with the power off, if you press power on then play they will start at the beginning. No, that's not what you said. |
