I bought my girlfriend a dvd player for xmas. I cannot get it to work.

the tv has only one connection avaliable. ( 1 male )

I bought a rv cable? the one with red, yellow and white.
The video player has only audio connections avliable so the white has no where to go and does not fit into the tv.. been stumped for days.. am i missing something very basic here

can get thr video player to work though!

please help..

If the TV only has a coax connection, you need an RF modulator. If it has RCA inputs, use them. If it's a mono TV with only 1 audio input, you need a y cable.
