My Samsung 27" HDTV (TX-R2779H) is new as of last evening. I had heard there were potential bowing issues in the bottom of the picture (due to it's slim fit tube design I assume). I have no outright bowing but I do notice a "bump" in screen center when there is a ticker crawling along. Seems to rise up at that point. Can't see it on normal picture, though.
I need to do more testing tonight but I also think I noticed an audio to video synchronization issue this AM off of standard cable. Seems worse on some stations and slight on others.
Is this an issue with sets that convert analog to digital, I wonder.
