i have a panasonic TV that is not hooked up to a outside cable source. i am running a vcr off the TV through the coaxial cable on channel 4. when i hook up a dvd player to the TV using the audio input and video input cords (red,yellow, and white) to the back of the tv, i can not get the dvd player to work. It says in the DVD instructions to set the tv to "video" input. My tv doesn't have that option it just has under the menu action setup items, "ANT" where you can choose Cable or TV (It doesn't matter which that i choose, it still doesn't work). Also for the DVD player to run, am I suppose to have the VCR power shut off so just the tv is the only thing on and nothing displaying on the VCR window, or should i have the VCR power button in the "Hif" mode, or should the VCR power button be on in the VCR/TV mode (of course, without the VCR playing). What am i doing wrong. HELP!!! |
