I don't have a very in depth understanding of upconversion so excuse me if this is a stupid question. Is there any type of external device that you can use in combination with a NON-upconversion dvd player that will upconvert for you? For instance some sort of additional box that you can feed the dvd signal to, and then send out to the tv. Just wondering. Also, I don't know if there are hacks out there that will make a non-upconversion dvd player up-convert the dvds. It is a Marantz VC8100 in case anyone knows of a hack for it. Thanks!!
