hi,
I have 2 fortecstar ultra, with the same bin file, the "282t dec-01-2005". the satellite settings for echo 7,6,8 are the same in the 2 box. in one box a get the satellite signal very strong 90% "red and green line". but in the other one I dont get anything, just 30% of the red line, but not the green one. I'm new with the free air box. what can i do to get signal in the box.

under antenna setup make sure you have the same set up as the one that is working. Your switch settings maybe off. |

the 2 box have the same settings for the antenna.
the diseqc are #1 and #2. they have the same settings.
i dont know what you mean by switch settings are off..

Your frequency is wrong that's why it is showing red, change your frequency in the settings to 11250 and you are good to go. |

I put the frequency to 11250, and still the same. its blue, in the 2 box. one get the blue and green and works great. but the other one just 30% of blue, but nothing in the other line. is very strange!!! because they have the same settings.

switch the boxes around hook working were non workin one is if it then doesnt work you have a lnb or cable prob |
