My nad t541 started to studder and freeze for a second here and there last night watching a movie. this is the second time it has happened. should I look into getting it cleaned? or is it on its way out, should I start looking at getting a replacement?

Clean the lens and spindle with a q-tip wet with alcohol. Be sure and do the spindle as well as the lens. The spindles get dirty and the disc slips, causing skipping and/or freezing.
