My VCR/DVD player was working fine on Saturday night...this morning tried to put a DVD in and got the message "this disc cannot be played"...."check disc"...

Obviously, I thought it was the DVD I was trying to play, but none of them work....It will play a CD though.....Any ideas?

I can tell it is almost Christmas, everything is breaking..
