Does anyone know anything about this portable DVD player. It's new from Walmart at a good price.
Any info at all will be much appreciated.

I am also looking at this. I have had good success with Polaroids under-cabinet dvd/tv/radio 7" monitor so the quality should be better than durabrand. |

It is okay, but it does not play _ANY_ backup formats on DVD-R or CD-R (DVD, VCD, SVCD, etc.). I was disappointed when I learned that. |

Are you sure it doesn't play those formats? The Walmart web site's description reads:
Play or listen to DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, CD, CD-R/RW
?????

Do Not Pay Attention to unregistered guests if they say something that doesn't match what the specifications are in the product literature. Just a word to the wise, as Christmas is a VERY competitive time of year. ;-) -bert in chicago |
