Hey all, I recently bought a SonyGX315 recorder and have it properly set up. When I record something, no matter what it is, I can play it on the same machine without any problems. I beleive this is when I am recording in "VR" mode. When I try to record in "video" mode, I get the annoying copyright protected box and it stops. This only happens on movies that I TiVo from the DirecTv, ie., IRobot or Bourne Supremacy. When I want to record kids program like the Wiggles, it gives me no problems. Please help!!! Thanks Matt |

It's the copy protection the premium channels are using. Record straight to the Sony and you'll be fine. The quality will be better anyway. |

Use the TiVo for stuff you don't want to put on DVD. |
