I've had this unit for over 7 months and recorded 200+ DVD's with it, no problem. The HD is almost full (4 hours left). It used to record a narrow black band across the bottom of the screen, which was okay. But now (since 2 weeks ago) it records a band of glitchy video exactly where the black band used to be. It is wide enough for part of it to show on my TV monitor. But it is especially annoying when viewing a DVD on a laptop. It does not show up when I plug the monitor directly into my video camera, so it is coming from the DVD recorder. I have not changed any settings. Any idea what the problem is?
