I know this is a long shot, but I've been surprised before. So here goes.

I have cox cable and they broadcast all types of music on the cable which you can listen to on the t.v. without any commercial interuptions, the t.v. picture is nothing more than a screen shot, usually of the album cover and some info about the artist. Is it possible to take this music after I record it to DVD-R using my DVD recorder connected to my t.v.and then somehow get it placed onto a CD-R disk using my computer cd writer so I can listen to it in my car ?
