Please help me know, is it possible to programe DVB (digital video broadcast) compliant Smart Cards on mikobu3 or other such programmers? I am using this smart card in CONAX embedded satellite receiver. Note that Direct TV dose not use DVB technology. DVB technology is generally used in EUROPE and is standard for rest of the world. lol, you guys are new! i caame here looking for a dvb card forum but i can help, do a google search for sdlogic, they sell the best programmers money can buy. they will do dtv and dish, and they are 100% leagal because they meet industry standards, unlike the cheap models manufactured for hacking ONLY. if by chance they question why your buying, tell them you are designing a smartcard security system for your new wharehose.
the hu (or p3 card) streme is shutting down as i type this but heres somthing i wrote, copy and paste it into notepad and call it "hu3m.hex" then apply it in extreme hu.

I did a search for sdlogic and found them. I also did a search for smartcard readers and found a URL for all professional smartcard readers. Guess what, sdlogic isn't listed. I got a feeling that this is a Dave site. Everyone beware of anyone giving a URL on this chat site. If you want a smart card reader, simply type smartcard reader into a search engine and it will give you quiet a few options.

if you want a programmer your best bet to stay safe is
First--go find a good sattellite forum site
Sencond--read all the threads in & around buy & sell section about individuels & sponsors of that site make sure there is positive feedback..
Third--NEVER pay by Credit Card or Paypal anything that will leave a paper trail!!!!
Fourth-- If & when you find someone & they are trusted & well spoken for Only pay with Blank Money Order!!

no offense against sandro, but a t911 for 90 bucks is a bit steep don't ya think, you can get them from just about every dealer i know of for less then $60 bucks!!! |
