Somebody please explain how to open the zip files once they're downloaded from those file sites and before you load them into your FTA.
What viewer do you use?

Winzip or Winace should work both are free to download just do a google search for them |

hello, you dont view the files, you download them from the updater. do not try to "open" them, just have them in the "unzipped" state, find where it is on your computer, thru you updater program, then choose it, and download on your receiver, t |

Don't listin to him!!!!
He's full of crap!!!
Download zip file to your disk top. Creat a new folder run winzip and place unziped files in this new folder.
Now to update your reciever you will need either the blacklist uploader, fortec uploader, or the STB uploader to flash you unit with this new file.
