My current system includes 1 Hughes HDTV receiver, and 3 standard RCA receivers. I want to add an additional TV in my kitchen, but DirecTV tells me they will not support more than 3 receivers in addition to a HD receiver. I could add an 8 way multiswitch at the dish, but DirecTV tells me that would void my maintanence contract with them. I don't mind connecting the new set off an existing receiver, don't mind having to watch the same channel on both. Here's my issue: I would ideally like to split from the out of my HD receiver to the new location, but i use component jacks out of that receiver and can't split them, and that receiver dosn't allow another out signal other than the component jacks when set to 1080. Can I run it through a VCR and connect to the new set? Is there a way to convert component to RF coaxial? How about RCA composite to RF coaxial? |
