Can you hook up a computer with an HDTV card to an HDTV ready projector and get an HDTV signal without going through an HDTV?

HDTV card to HDTV ready projector

YES, if the digital signal is correct for the "projector". http://forum.ecoustics.com/bbs/messages/2/162397.html

BTW: If the HDTV ready projector is HD "ready", (meaning it does not have a HD tuner build in..). Why would you need (or want) to run it thru a HD TV, and then on to the "projector"?

Seems to me a HDTV ready projector is the same as a HDTV... the only differance being one has a "built-in HD Tuner", the other requiring an external tuner. (AKA "HD Ready")
