I havea 1 year old Panasonic HDTV, 53" rear projection HDTV. about 3 months ago I got a black smudge on teh bottom part of the screen. Wasn't anything i could wipe off the plastic screen protector, but after having the TV off for a night (it's usually on) it went away. about a month later a new black smudge came along the bottom 20% of the screen and no matter how long I have the set off it won't go away. it looks as if somone spayed something on it. I can see through the smudge, just looks tinted. Kind of ruinds the viewing expierence.
Has anyone expierenced this on they're set? I wanted to take off the plastic screen protector but think I have to remove the whole back. I don't really want to do that.
I'd like to know if anyone's heard of this and if there is a fix for it.
any help would be appreciated. |
