I'm looking for peoples opinions. I don't want to get into which format is better Blu-ray or HD-DVD. What I want to know is will you choose a side, buy both, or sit on the sidelines and wait for the winner?

I personally will not buy either format until we have a single choice. I will not spend $1000 for something that might not even be supported a few years from now.

Please keep your answers short and sweet.
Thanks!!! TB, go ahead an post your views if you like, but PLEASE leave the CRT talk out of this one...

I'll chime in.

It's hard for me to believe that the content providers would split and and take a gamble on one or the other not being popular. I think at some point they will all get on the same page. (one format) It's either that or the hardware will have several lasers to pick up all formats including existing DVDs.
