I got a disk off my friend and I’m unable to watch it using my dvd play. When the disc goes into the dvd player, is starts, the menu comes up and it says click enter to watch. i click on enter and the dvd player screen says SEARCHING.. Nothing happens then and the only way to stop the disc from searching is ejecting it. Is there a way to change settings on the dvd player so the disk can be played? if not, do you recommend any ways of how to be able to watch this disc using my Pioneer DVR-310-S dvd player.

The disk is NTSC format, nothing is displayed on the tv screen, only the dvd player just says searching.

Please help!
