Our TV is less than 3 years old and has multiple colour images on the screen (red, green, blue). After speaking to a certified Hitachi Service tech. it looks like we need to replace 2 convergence CI's. I am so disappointed with this we spent over 2 grand!! Anyone else have the same problem? The customer service rep at Hitachi agrees that this is not normal after 3 years but said over time projection TV's need to be realigned. Isn't that why there's a magic focus on the TV? That's one of the reasons we purchased the thing. Anyway, if anyone has the same problem please let me know what the outcome for you was. I think Hitachi should pay for the repair! |
